Cake-cutting ceremony marks The World Tourism Day

The tourist board of Dubrovnik the city of Dubrovnik marked the World Tourism Day with a cake – cutting ceremony and live music performance. Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization has celebrated the globally known World Tourism Day on September 27. Dubrovnik’s tourism numbers are rocketing and it is expected that 2016 will be the best year ever.

Dubrovnik is known as one of the most popular destinations among guests from the EU and the United States, and the majority of guests come from the UK, France, United States of America, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
