New walking trails proposed as a part of the Hiking Europe project

At a working meeting that was organized by the DUNEA agency, as a part of the EU project, 'Hiking Europe', new walking trails of the Dubrovnik Neretva County were proposed.

Hiking Europe project has begun in April 2016 and will continue for 18 months. During that period, it is planned that hiking trails of 1,170 kilometers will be formed throughout four European countries; Croatia, Ireland, Spain and Italy. The goal of the project is to offer visitors and tourists new walking trails, encouraging them to be more physically active as well as to explore rural areas of Europe, its local traditions, cuisine, museums, churches etc.

In addition, as part of this EU project, three or five days tourist programs were formed by the local agency Dominium travel, which include Napoleon road in the Ston area, as well as walking trails of Mljet island.
