Dubrovnik musical spring with the Dubrovnik symphonic orchestra

The event series 'Dubrovnik musical spring' has been designed to further benefit and improve the overall cultural offer of the city. During a nine day period, the Dubrovnik symphonic orchestra will be directed by the honoree conductor Pavle Dešpalj; one of the festival's friends coming from Austria, the conductor Christoph Campestrini; and the famous conductor from Zagreb, Tomislav Fačini.

As solo performers, numerous renowned musicians will also perform as a part of the festival: Aljoša Jurinić, one of the most renowned piano players in the world and one of the finalists of the Chopin piano competition; violinist Hiwote Tadesse, Grand Prix award winner at the International championship of young musicians in Moscow; Đanma Kahriman, DSO performer and the winner of numerous awards at numerous championships; Matija Novaković, Dmitry Sinkovsky – to mention a few. The concerts wil ltake place at th Franciscan church Male braće, Revelin fortress and the Dubrovnik's cathedral.
